Our work is focused on commercial site preparation, structural demolition, land clearing, pond excavation, and grading for development projects across the region.

What We Do and Who We Do It For

The owner, Colyn Johnson, has spent 17 years working in excavation, demolition, and land clearing — including time managing crews of 100 people in Colorado. That background shapes how JRO operates today. When you run large crews on large projects, you learn what it actually takes to keep multiple jobs moving without cutting corners.

JRO Dirt and Demo is built around commercial work. We work with developers, property management companies, large landowners, and commercial clients who need a contractor that can handle scope and scale without hand-holding. We’re currently running three active crews on state-of-the-art equipment, and we’re structured to take on multiple major projects at the same time — something that’s not common in this part of Kansas.

Our work spans structural demolition, excavation, land clearing and forestry mulching, and commercial site prep. We’ve worked on manufacturing facilities, parking garages, communication towers, ponds, and large development pads. The projects vary. The approach doesn’t: show up with the right equipment, do the job right, and move on.
