What We Demolish
Our focus is on commercial and industrial structures. That includes large manufacturing facilities — we’ve recently completed a 50,000 square foot facility — as well as parking garages, communication buildings, cell towers, and similar commercial structures. We also work with large landowners and property developers who have structures to remove as part of a broader site development or repurposing project.

Pair This Service With

JRO Dirt and Demo can handle all of it with the same crews, which keeps the project moving without the coordination overhead of managing multiple contractors.

FAQs — Commercial Demolition
What size demolition projects does JRO Dirt and Demo handle?
We focus on commercial and industrial scale. We’ve completed jobs as large as 50,000 square foot manufacturing facilities, multi-story parking garages, and cell towers. If the structure is commercial, we’re likely equipped to handle it. Smaller residential teardowns aren’t our primary focus.
How do you decide how to take down a structure?
It depends on the site. The biggest factors are what’s near the structure — other buildings, utilities, roads, people — and the structure type itself. In tight urban settings, we work top to bottom, carefully. In open areas, the process can be more straightforward. We assess every site before anything starts.
Do you handle the debris and material removal after demolition?
This is something we discuss during the consultation phase. Every job is different, so we work through what the client needs as part of that process.
How far in advance should I contact you for a demolition project?
The earlier the better, especially for large or complex structures. Demolition requires site assessment and planning before a crew shows up. Reaching out well ahead of your target start date gives us time to evaluate the site properly and get you on the schedule.
Do you work on projects outside Kansas?
Yes. We regularly work in Nebraska and Oklahoma, and we’ve traveled as far as the Texas border for the right project. Call us and we can talk through whether your location works.
What is the consultation fee, and how does it work?
We charge a consultation fee upfront. That fee is not lost — it applies directly toward the cost of the job if you move forward. It allows us to take your project seriously from the beginning and filters for clients who are ready to commit.
Is large-scale demolition always dangerous?
All demolition carries risk, which is why it’s not something that should be done without experience and planning. We assess proximity to other structures, utilities, and people before we begin, and we determine the safest method based on what we find. The goal is always to bring a structure down cleanly without creating hazards.
